Community Video Projects

Love Beamish and Stanley is a campaign to promote people, businesses and attractions in the DH9 area of County Durham. PMI Creative came up with the concept in 2017 as a way of showcasing our area. After developing the branding for this campaign we then set up a committee with local business owners to drive the project forward. This not for profit campaign was launched in 2018 after funding from Stanley Area Action Partnership and local councillors who believed in the concept.

 

Since the launch, our videos have been seen by over one million people, with all businesses seeing positive results and increased sales.

A series of spin-off series was launched via the campaign including a three-part documentary exploring the history, volunteers and working on Tanfield Railway, the oldest steam railway in the world. We have also worked on a Health and Wellbeing video series for the campaign.

 

PMI Creative have loved being part of this campaign from the initial planning stage to see all the businesses enjoying further success as a result of Love Beamish and Stanley.
